We’re happy to share some new updates on KujaLink. These improvements are designed to make forums easier to use, support more meaningful discussions, and help members connect and share feedback more smoothly.
One of the main updates is the new Survey feature in discussion forums. This means forum admins can now create surveys alongside regular topics and polls, making it easier to gather input from community members.

Surveys in forums
Create surveys in addition to discussion topics and polls
Use quick answer options such as Agree, Disagree, Neutral, and Pass
Upload survey questions in bulk using CSV files
Move through surveys one question at a time with progress tracking
View survey results through a dashboard with charts and response summaries
Improved reporting and exports
Export poll and survey responses in Excel or CSV
Choose whether exports show respondents’ names or keep responses anonymous
Include helpful participant details such as location, age, organisation type, leadership profile, annual budget, income, and years active
Easier forum administration
Forums can now have more than one administrator
Admins can be added or removed more easily
Forum admins receive notifications when administrator changes are made
Admins are now clearly shown with a Moderator badge
Pinned topics and comments
Forum admins can pin important topics so they stay easy to find
Top-level comments can also be pinned for better visibility
Up to 5 items can be pinned per forum or topic to keep discussions clear and easy to follow
Better community experience
Long forum descriptions now have a “Read More” option
Forum cards are clickable, making it easier to open forums from the Userfeed and Forums page
Topics, polls, and surveys now have clearer labels
Members can click on contributor names to view profiles and start direct conversations
Direct messaging is easier from member profiles
Topic and comment improvements
Topic creators can now delete their own topics
Members can report inappropriate comments
Comment length has increased from 500 to 1,500 characters
Menus now clearly show whether you are working with a topic, poll, or survey
Member exit and network updates
Members can now exit partnerships, networks, and team roles
Both parties receive notifications when a member exits a role
Organisations can now appear as both parent and child organisations in linked-partner relationships
Members can view the networks and partnerships they belong to from their profiles
Security and performance improvements
OTP login now includes added protection against repeated failed login attempts
Search for survey questions has improved
Survey response processing and counting is faster
Language detection and error handling have been improved
