The future of aid must put intersectional gender equity at its core. We must keep advocating for human rights, but change our programs so that women, indigenous groups, and marginalized communities are the primary designers of aid policies. We must discard 'gender-blind' programming that assumes an aid intervention affects everyone in a community equally.
