HOPE for Girls Education Africa is a community-rooted, nonprofit organization founded in 2012 and registered in 2015 with a vision of empowered girls and communities that support them to thrive. We work to protect, educate, and empower girls in rural Kenya—particularly in Narok, Migori, Kajiado, Samburu, and Homabay Counties—where harmful cultural practices such as female genital mutilation (FGM), early marriage, and poverty continue to limit girls’ potential. Our holistic approach integrates rescue and shelter services, scholarships, mentorship, digital literacy, life skills training, and women’s economic empowerment to create lasting change. To date, we have rescued and sheltered 471 girls, awarded 265 scholarships, reached over 1,100 students through mentorship programs, and trained 26 community mentors and coaches. Anchored in community partnerships and driven by local leadership, HOPE for Girls Education Africa continues to stand as a beacon of transformation—empowering girls, strengthening families, and inspiring communities across Kenya to rise together.
