Oxfam believes that aid should be utilized as a tool for justice and not charity. Aid should be a tool for global redistribution independent of the geopolitical agendas of donor countries. In its most optimistic iteration, aid should be a tool of global collective action - an act of solidarity. What does it mean for aid to be a tool for justice, solidarity and global redistribution in our current political economy?
