 ustainable Development Organizations: The Case of KCDF\,” which was held
  on the 15th of April\, 2025\, we explored the history and model of the Ke
 nya Community Development Foundation (KCDF) – a pioneer in community phi
 lanthropy and champion of locally rooted solutions for 25 years. Since 199
 7\, KCDF has been working to build capacity in communities across Kenya to
  empower them to take control of their own development. Their approach goe
 s beyond traditional finance – emphasizing collective action\, wealth bu
 ilding\, and local fundraising as key pillars of sustainable change. Key T
